Tilt latches are spring loaded mechanisms found at the right and left top of a window sash that locks the sash into place and releases it to tilt forward when pressed inward.

Vinyl glazing bead

Glazing Bead

Glazing bead is a strip of wood or vinyl that secures an insulated glass unit into the frame. Properly fitting glazing bead is essential to prevent rattling and seal out air. They fit into a groove in the sash and lock the glass unit firmly into the window sash. There are many different styles available and it is crucial to replace with the correct type to ensure a proper fit..

Pivot Shoe

Pivot shoes are used with spiral window balance systems. It fits into the window jam channel and connects the sash with a pivot bar allowing the sash to tilt inward.
